Which CRM for an SMB that wants to prospect without hiring or retyping?
A company of ten to two hundred people has no CRM administrator and no SDR. Its CRM has to run on its own, and above all fill itself, or it becomes one more spreadsheet nobody opens.

In short
For an SMB, the right CRM is the one that prospecting fills: The Sales Engine finds the decision-makers in your target, contacts them by email and LinkedIn, creates the records, logs every exchange, classifies replies and books meetings in your calendar. Contacts, pipeline and opportunities are included, from €350 a month per workspace, with a team in Paris and an optional managed service.
What an SMB actually expects from a CRM
- Know who to follow up this week, without digging through three tools.
- See the real pipeline, not the one the team had time to update.
- Retype nothing: an SMB has nobody for that.
- Not pay per user for features two people will use.
- Stay in control: every prospect approved before being contacted, every message reviewed if you want to.
A typical week with a CRM that fills itself
Monday: ten minutes of approval
Prospects found on your target and your buying signals wait in the approval queue, with their record and the proof of the signal. You approve or discard; approved ones enter the campaign. See SMBs without a sales team.
Monday to Friday: the sequences run
Profile visit, invitation, email with an opener written on the signal, LinkedIn message, follow-up. Every action lands on the record, dated.
Every day: the replies that matter
Replies are classified; you only read the "interested" ones. A reply stops the sequence and updates the record.
The meeting books itself
The prospect books on your page, linked to your calendar. The record moves to "Meeting", the opportunity opens, the card moves. Slack or Teams lets you know.
Friday: the pipeline tells the truth
Contacted, replies, meetings per campaign; opportunities by stage; the week's activity in the explorer. None of it was typed in.
For an SMB, on top
One price per workspace, not per seat
Starter from €350 a month on annual billing, Growth at €700, monthly with no commitment at €500 and €1,000. Team members are invited at no extra cost; only an additional LinkedIn account is an add-on. See pricing.
The managed service if you lack time
For €300 a month, our team tunes the target, writes the sequences and runs the campaigns, with a check-in every two weeks. You keep the approval. See the managed service.
Calls inside the CRM
Connect your phone system (Ringover, Aircall) or use the device's: the call is logged on the record with its duration, and the pipeline's call mode moves from card to card.
A legal registry for French companies
Legal form, headcount, executives, revenue and net income per year, read from public registers and placed on the record, at no credit cost.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an administrator to run the CRM?
No. The workspace is set up during onboarding, the target and signals in plain language, and The Sales Engine team can be reached from the application. The managed service takes the rest if you wish.
How many people can use the CRM?
As many as you invite: every member has a role and a visibility scope on prospects and pipelines. Pricing is per workspace; only an additional LinkedIn account for sequences is billed as an add-on.
Does the CRM work without LinkedIn?
Yes. Sequences can be email only, and the CRM also receives inbound contacts from your landing page and scanned business cards.
What if we adopt HubSpot later?
The connection takes a few minutes and The Sales Engine CRM pushes prospects, replies and meetings into it from then on, with no re-entry. See classic CRM vs a CRM that prospects.
