Comparison
Lead generation agency or The Sales Engine: which one?
An agency runs your prospecting end to end. The Sales Engine gives you the system and, if you want it, a team to run it. The real difference is less about promised results than about who decides, what you can see, and what you keep when you stop.

In short
Pick an agency if you want to hand off all prospecting, including phone qualification, and spend no time on it. Pick The Sales Engine if you want a say on every prospect and message, real-time visibility on results and your data kept in your own workspace, with the managed service available when you are short on time.

Two different logics
An agency sells a service: people build lists, write messages, follow up and hand you meetings. That is comfortable when you have neither the time nor the wish to deal with it, and some agencies go further than we do, up to the qualification call.
The Sales Engine is a system. You describe your target; the platform counts reachable companies and decision-makers, watches buying signals (new decision-maker, hiring, fundraising, public tenders), proposes scored prospects and writes an opener for each person. You approve, email and LinkedIn sequences run in one thread, replies are classified and meetings land on your booking page.
Cost: compare like with like
Our prices are public: Starter from €500 ($600) a month, Growth from €1,000 ($1,200) a month, Enterprise on request, three-month minimum, 20% off on annual plans. The managed service, where our team builds, launches and tunes your campaigns with a check-in every two weeks, adds €300 ($400) a month. Details on the pricing page.
Agencies price case by case. To compare, ask what is included (sourcing, enrichment, tools, copywriting), how volume is counted, what a no-show meeting costs, and how long the commitment runs.
Control, speed and data
With an agency, your reputation rides on messages you do not always see go out. With us, nothing is sent without your approval, and a checker reviews every campaign before the first send. First messages go out within the week; the first month tunes target and copy, and results are judged over three months.
Ask any agency one simple question: when the contract ends, what do you keep? On The Sales Engine, your prospects, replies and meetings live in your workspace and can be pushed to your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and others). For the legal side, see our guide to B2B prospecting and GDPR.

Frequently asked questions
Is The Sales Engine an agency?
No. It is a platform you run yourself. The optional managed service adds our team to run your campaigns end to end, but you keep prospect approval and full access.
How much is the managed service?
€300 ($400) a month on top of your plan, with a strategy check-in every two weeks. Plans start at €500 ($600) a month for Starter and €1,000 ($1,200) for Growth.
How fast can we launch?
First messages go out within the week. The first month is for tuning target and copy; results are judged over three months.
What happens if I stop?
Your prospects, replies and meetings sit in your workspace while you subscribe and can be pushed to your CRM as you go, so they do not depend on a provider.
Do you make qualification calls?
No, that is not part of our offer. Replies are classified and meetings are booked on your page; the call is yours. If you want to outsource that step, an agency is a better fit.
